Since 1964, a marina business has existed on our site. Making our marina quite possibly the first floating retail business on Lake Norman. Since then change and growth have been common place. The original gas dock from 1964 still floats and offers fuel, snacks, fishing supplies, and boat rentals.
Lake Norman Marina has the capacity to store 341 boats. We can accommodate boats up to 40′ long in our wet slips and boats up to 29′ long in our stack storage. All of our storage customers enjoy the benefits of a newly constructed, air conditioned bath house with showers and dressing area. We also offer free pump out service for our storage customers.
The Dry Storage Facility holds 254 boats, up to 29 feet long. If you would rather store your boat out-of-water, the Dry Storage Facility is just what you need.

The Covered Wet Slip is a great choice for people who would rather store their
boats in-water, rather than out-of-water. The Wet Slip is a fully functional,
on-water storage facility complete with a Gas Dock. There is a total of 87 wet slips.

Customer pays for gas used additional to daily boat rental rates.
Full day boat rentals are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Corporate rates available.
$50 cleaning cost if boat is returned in an unacceptable condition.
Reservations are strongly recommended for boat rentals on all weekends and holidays.
$50.00 cash, Mastercard, Visa, or American Express holds a boat until 10:00 a.m. Your card will be debited at the time of reservation. Deposit is forfeited at 10:00 a.m. if boat rental is not completed. A full payment holds a boat until the end of the day. Cancellations must be made at least two days in advance to receive a full refund. Half day reservations are not accepted on weekends and holidays. Walk-ins only.
