Pinnacle boat launch features a boat ramp & small boat/canoe access. Pinnacle also has handicap access with 6 parking spots & ramps to the boat docks. There is no swimming or fishing allowed. Rules are posted at entrance.

From I-77 take exit 36 onto NC 150 (River Hwy) west for 4.4 miles. Before crossing Lake Norman the access area entrance is on the right.

Stumpy Creek is a public boat launch on Lake Norman for recreational use only. The boat landing is open 24 hours a day, year round. It is maintained and operated by Iredell County Parks and Recreation.

A $2.00 daily launch fee is required for all watercraft. A Season Pass can be purchased by calling the Parks and Recreation Department @ 704-878-3103. Season Passes are valid from the date of purchase through the end of the calendar year.

Swimming and Sun Bathing are not allowed at Stumpy Creek boat launch. Picnicking and fishing are allowed.

Stumpy Creek Park is an 83-acre facility located in Mooresville off of Perth Road. Highlights include:

3 Soccer Fields
3 Baseball/Softball Fields
Playground
Picnic Shelters
Walking Track
9 Hole Disc Golf Course

Field and shelter reservations can be made by calling 704-878-3103.

Park hours are from 9:00 a.m. until dark daily. Closed on Christmas and during inclement weather.

I-77 exit 36, travel west 2 miles, turn right on Perth Road Turn left on Stumpy Creek Rd and follow to end (straight into access area).
